Every day I look for the darn lizard.
But he fooled me.
See that spot on the step?
I charged it after staring intently for 87 seconds.
Mom felt bad I charged a dirty spot.
I was embarrassed,
so I got extra kisses.
Lily (& Edward)
87 kisses are an adequate price for not seeing that lizard. my momma had such a mis-seeing once too and confused some dirt pieces from my paws with crumbs from her nut-cookies...
ReplyDeleteOh butt I bet the extra kisses were worth it!
ReplyDeleteMy Mum just laffed at me when I was growling at our lizard ornament, she didn't care about my hurt feelings *sigh*
Loves and licky kisses

ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
BOL! Oh dear, that is so not nice of the lizard to tease you like that. If you need a new lizard to chase, just let me know. We have plenty and we could surely send you some.
ReplyDeleteI promise I'm not laughing at you.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Well....it could have been a lizard.
ReplyDeleteThey’re filled with foam padding or polyester filling or also individual’s cedar plank chips, which are utilized to dissuade bugs and smells. They’re easily washable and right for all kinds of dogs; however they might not provide enough support for the older dog, especially when he’s struggling with memory foam problems.
ReplyDeleteWell, it MIGHT have been that Pesky Lizard..
ReplyDeleteSo, did clean the dirty step so you won't charge it again? No, Jan wouldn't either.
ReplyDeleteThat lizard will show - and you'll be ready and waiting, Lily!
ReplyDeleteWe spot those silly lizards on our walks, but they are SO fast, they disappear in a nanosecond!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
The lizard was surely there before. He could have come back.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Frenchies! I hope you get lots of turkey and stuffing.
Oops! It can happen to anyone!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Don't worry Lily. Walter attacks leaves like they are a squirrel or something. Maybe you just need some glasses.
ReplyDeleteGo get it!
ReplyDeleteHey, starin at (or growlin) imaginary things are, well, it happens to all of us.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw it!

ReplyDeleteLizards are fun to chase...we miss seeing them in Florida!!
ReplyDeleteWell it COULD have been a tiny lizard...no wonder you charged it! I do think though that if you'd had your glasses on you would have realized it was just an icky old spot!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
We do not see many lizards up here. The collies are obsessed with squirrels!
ReplyDeleteLizards are bad news. We have to stay away from them. Mom says if we touch one, she will never come near us again. She is afraid of them.
ReplyDeleteLizards are sneaky little boogers! We recently discovered several without their tails thanks to Pierre! He stares out the backdoor and loses his mind when one comes out of our monkey grass. BOL!
ReplyDeleteOh Lily...it happens to the best of us, including me!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory
Awe those sneaky lizards. We gets them all over our porch and they are just too fast ;)
