Someone said to mom the other day,
“Do you let your dogs sleep with you.” Mom smiled and said,
“They let me sleep with them.”
We were standing right there, so I’m not sure why they
didn’t ask us.
Yes, we rule the roost.
Mom sleeps sometimes with one leg freezing cause we have all
the blankets.
She wakes up stiff or with sciatica cause we are laying on
her.
She sleeps like a pretzel so not to disturb us.
She wakes up 87 times in the night to make sure we are ok.
Yep, we rule the roost!
Do you?
Lily & Edward
Lily and Edward one thing that is 87,000% true we are lucky to be loved by our peeps. I love the 'they let me sleep with them'!!
ReplyDeleteEarly on I liked to sleep between my peeps legs..mom said I felt like a ton she could not move...that was fixed over time though
Hugs madi your bfff
The only rule we have is that when Momma FURST gets in bed, she gets to get settled furst and THEN when can jump up and find our spots. But if she gets up during the night, rules are GONE! BOL!
ReplyDeleteyour mom said this evry well... I agree with her 100%.
ReplyDeleteMy mom said :"Sounds so familiar!".
ReplyDeleteBowie
Katy doesn't like our bed. However she does set the rules
ReplyDeleteYep, same here! You should see mum try to disentangle herself in the middle of the night to use the restroom...BOL!! She may have missed her calling as a contortionist!
ReplyDeleteEdgar
I do not usually comment but I had to with this one because I know just how you feel. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe forgot to add, we wake her 4:24 am, 7 days a week holidays included
DeleteIsn't that the way it should be?? the peeps had a king size bed when there were 5 pugs in the house. They downsized to a queen when there were only 3 pugs but they kinda wish they stuck with the king BOL!

I let my Momma sleep with me too, she loves the company and so do I, in the cold winter months i am like her little furry hot water bottle, I deffo rule the roost! Its nice that our Pawrents love us so much and take care of us, it is the way it should be, Love and Licks from your furiend Frank xxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteBOL I sleep with my peeps too. I have my own pillow above moms head and sometimes I take over her pillow too.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
yes we do, I hog the bed, and make mom get up at 6:15 everyday whether she has to go to work or not, she must love me a lot to let me get away with that...stella rose
ReplyDeleteBOW WOW, I don't sleep in bed with my 13 year old mom for 2 reasons: I am not housebroken, and she sleeps on the top bunk of her bunk bed. If she didn't though, I would sleep in bed with her! Even though I'm not housebroken I still wouldn't get up during the night. BOL!
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Christmas
It's pretty much that way at our house too!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Yes, I do!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaggie prefers her carrier for some reason. Whatever. More room for ME!!!
Cammie!
We sure do!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Your Mom rocks!!! We like to think we rule the roost, but our roost only covers the first floor area, not the upstairs sleeping quarters:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
it's exactly the same way here!
ReplyDeletewags, bailey unleashed
I'm usually wedged up in the top 25% of the bed until Wilson decides he is too warm and hops down.
ReplyDeleteRule the roost ~ well then you live in a hen house and I still think your Mom is the top Chick!
ReplyDeleteHappy Safe 4th of July to you.
Sweet William The Scot
You're lucky doggies! We were kicked out of ghostwriter's bed because we were too gassy, whatever that means!
ReplyDeletemom yells something about a gas mask
DeleteHunter definitely rules the roost here; he has always slept with us. In the winter he is up close near our heads and in the summer he sleeps at the bottom of the bed. Wouldn't have it any other way.
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen and Hunter
We have 87 beds in our house and nope, we don't sleep with our peeps.
ReplyDeleteWe are king and queen of our kingdom too!
ReplyDeleteI don't sleep with Mom because I'm not allowed in the bedroom because of all of Cody's cat toys being in the back part of the condo. Mom is too afraid that I will eat them. If Mom falls asleep on the couch, I sleep by her on the floor (I am allowed on the couch but I never go up there). Cody will sleep by Mom's head and she will never move so as not to disturb Cody. He will often "hold hands" with her too when she sleeps. DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. Jan had to get a full size bed just so she could sleep with her feet on it. (Buddy usually pushed them out.)
ReplyDeleteTake as much room as you like!

This is OUR house! We're here 24/7 ... they are not! Someone has to make the money to pay the mortgage, buy treats, etc. (It's not going to be us!) The pawrents are lucky we let them sleep with us! BOL
ReplyDeleteLove Zoe, Peyton, Webster, Liberty, Whitney & Jaxzyn
Of course, we do and when I say it is time to get up, I won't take no for an answer! Your Pal, Bentley
ReplyDeleteWe sleep wherever we want. Sometimes it's on the big bed and sometimes elsewhere. We rule, too!
ReplyDeleteOh indeed I do rule the roost.....I've got Mom trained to respond to my every squeak, and I've got Dad trained to let Mom do everything so it's done RIGHT! HAHA
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
You are kidding right??? We absolutely are IN CHARGE!! Happy Weekend guys!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about us at our house too. Mom plans her entire life around us. She forgoes new outfits to put us into nose work sometimes, but she is happy to do it. Mom's are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that you two totally rule in your roost! So nice of you to allow her to sleep with you!
