we went to Benji's cabin.
We relaxed,
looked for tree rats,
relaxed,
went bird watching,
relaxed,
went to the lake,
and dressed up.
We have one set rule at the cabin....
NEVER, NEVER are we allowed out on the deck unsupervised. NEVER.
There was a coyote
standing 2 feets from our deck.
Peace out,
Lily & Edward

ReplyDeleteHi Lily Hi Edward,
ReplyDeleteAstro here stopping by to say Hello
Looks like you both had a nice relaxing weekend.
So glad the coyote was not up on the deck with you.

That looks like the perfect place to relax...well except for the whole coyote thing. BOL! Y'all look great in your 4th of July outfits. ♥
ReplyDeleteWell, it sounded like a very relaxing 4th until you mentioned coyote. YIKES!
ReplyDeleteEEEEK on coyotes! Good thing you always have snoopervision when on the deck....same thing here with my deck only it's foxes that would like to get me instead of coyotes!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
What a gorgeous spot! Love those little folding chairs you were sitting on. Mom worries about things like coyotes too, although we could probably take them on, but you guys would be in trouble. Glad you stay safe.
ReplyDeleteWhen we went to Tahoe we have the same rule - we are never allowed outside without supervision and we never walk without a leash. One time the coyotes APPROACHED our little group out walking (and it was well before dusk) and Mommy pulled me in by leash so she could carry me. She heard a rumor that some dachsie was NABBED by a coyote RIGHT OFF THE LEASH!! I am all for safety measures like that.
ReplyDeleteLove Noodles
OMD be careful you two! That a good rule looks like a great time. Mom says for sure next year we are going away as the fireworks are too much to deal with scaring us to death. Love Dolly
