Mom has always wanted to get me a senior friend, but dad told her he can be her senior friend, thus no 4th pug...pssst to our dad. thank you for your prayers. stella rose and momma
We had four for years -- two dogs and two cats. Now we're down to three, and Momma would like to keep it at two with the occasional foster. (We hope that will be in a LONG time, but Momma says no more kitties after Pigeon.) It's a lot, but part of it depends on the size of the pets, and part on their temperaments!
mol mol mol THE MORE TO LOVE FOR SURE BUT MOM SAYS SHE HAS ALWAYS ONLY HAD 1 PET AT A TIME. PROBABLY BECAUSE TOTO THE DOXIE WAS 3 MONTHS OLD WHEN THEY GOT HIM AND BOTH US KITTIES WERE 2 MONTHS OLD. PUPPIES AND KITTIES ARE A LOT OF WORK. FOR SURE HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
If my eyes don't deceive me I think that lady has fourteen Frenchies. Now if you Lily count for three and Edward is one, why your Momma could get TEN more. Can you count to ten Lily? Thanks for being a friend Sweet William The Scot
Mom says two dogs is a must, three is a bit much, and one is downright boring after owning several. As for the cats, they are a whole different animal, literally!
There was a time when there were 5 pugs here at our house. For a few years there were only 2 now there is 3. Mom says 2 or 3 is good! hugs Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
Love the pic! Well, having five is very cool! Five times the fun, five times the silliness, and yes, five times (which translates to a thousand-and-five times) craziness when they get the zoomies! Don't tell Bandit, but she can sometimes be like FiveSibes in one! ;-) I love have a big pack family - the best time of day? At night when they are all sprawled around the family in the living room, sleeping peacefully and safe. When they bed hop and play tug with the toys is fun to watch, too! Oh, and the howling, the Siberian Chorus is pretty cool - out of key, but cool! I think Mom should go for the 4 - or 5! Five French Bulldogs - has a ring, don't ya think? :-)
OMD, Ma says I'm like having 4 doggies!! BOL!!! Since I don't like sharing, having more than one doggie is outta the question! hehehehe more treaties for MOI! Kisses, Ruby ♥
My mom says that having a pet is like eating potato chips -- no one can have just one! This being said one year after bringing the cat Rhette into our home and and just short of a year that Taffy came to live with us. I prefer being an only dog -- just sayin. Love Dolly
I think if you can afford to have more pups - taking into account any future medical costs and you live in an area that allows more than two pups - then the heart always have room for more love and there is so many pups who need that
Well, we were once a pack of two, then three, then four, then three, and sadly we are now just two:( We keep hoping Mom will surprise us one of these days with another #3. And even a #4 would be incredible!!!
I love the first photo. It made me laugh, especially with your caption!
We had 3 Labs for a few years, and I found that 3 were exponentially more work than 4. However, it might be easier to have 3 0r 4 of a smaller breed. When I walked all 3 Labs, their total weight was twice mine... so they could do what they wanted!!!!
i would never let my peeps get another dog. it's bad enough that i have to allow aoife into my home and she's only here part time. a full time dog is totally out of the question. xoxo, bailey unleashed
My Mum wants 4 of me, one in each colourway....I finks she's confusing me wiv a pair of shoes!!!!!

Our mom says two is great but more than that (she has had 4 at one time...large dogs) is a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that's a lot o' poop to scoop!
ReplyDeleteWe've had 4 dogs here, Mommy's happy with 2 rite now.

my mom would have 87 doggies if she could :o) ...but I have some doubts if we all would find a comfy place on the bed :o)
ReplyDeleteWe think having four dogs is the natural order of things.
ReplyDeleteWell, we are already two pets in this house (different species) and sometimes Ma and Daddy-dog would like a 3rd. A dog.
ReplyDeleteOz
My mom would love to have a couple more Scotties but dad says one's enough.

I'd love to have more dogs, but it is such a huge responsibility.
ReplyDeleteTwo is enough for Mom
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny to me because I have been asking my husband if we could adopt another pup and he said Cocoa is like having 10, lol.
ReplyDeleteIf I won the lottery and had acreage, I would have lots of dogs and cats........otherwise, two is fine with me!

For right now, we are apparently "more than enough" for our mom. We have no idea what that means. How can we be "more than enough"?
