finding one with

Selective PREbiotics

and more.....
is like hitting the jackpot.
Brothers Complete (Mr. A) found us.
Isn't he one cool dude?
The company is family owned and operated which we thought was already one ginormous PLUS!
Mr. A sent us a generous variety of Ultra Premium Food
and snacks
even rated Brothers Complete with
Additionally, we like the idea of "Advanced Allergy Care"
Since we have the itchies.
The food is available For All Life Stages in a variety of flavors
Chicken Meal & Egg Formula
Turkey Meal & Egg Formula
Lamb Meal & Egg Formula
and Venison Meal & Egg Formula
We are excited to have been given the opportunity to try out this high quality food.
We love the taste and the air tight bags.
I am currently eating the Venison Meal and Egg Formula.
Since we much prefer small kibble,
the size was perfect.
They also sent us 87 zillion chews and bullysticks.
So far, we give Brothers Complete an 8 paws up
since we have 8 paws!
The kibble is a little higher in price than average kibble. However, we are willing to pay since the quality appears to be superb!
Thank you very much!!

ReplyDeleteVenison? Buffalo? Oh my, you two are some lucky dawgs! That all sounds delicious!

The food looks very yummy but not sure why they use the term meal in the name as it puts us off. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWe kind of thought the same thing at first but the ingredients looks good
DeleteWhen the term " Meal" is used after the name of the protein (ie. Venison Meal in this case) it means that the moisture and fat have been removed from the Venison BEFORE it is weighed to determine it's position on the ingredient list. The first ingredient weighs the most, and so on down the line. When the term "Venison" is used without "Meal" it means the Venison was weighed WITH it's water weight BEFORE it was drierd.
DeleteAbout 75% of Venison is water so when the term "Venison Meal" is used on an ingredient list it means there is about 3 to 4 times more Venison protein than when the term "Venison" is used by itself. The "Venison" will have to have the water removed before it can become kibble, but by weighing it BEFORE they dry it they can put it much higher on the ingredient list and make it look like there is 4 times more protein from Venison than there actually is.
It's confusing and even misleading to allow one meat to be weighed wet and compare it to the meat which is weighed after it's dried (meat meal) because in the end they are exactly the same thing in the dry kibble - dried down to a moisture content of 8 to 10%. Hope this helps clear up the confusion.
Choosing the right food gives our mom nightmares!!! She is always, constantly, worrying about our food. There are just too many horror stories!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you found a food you can trust!
We are testing some foods right now, but this Brothers Complete sounds great. Maybe we will have to check them out and give them a try too.

ReplyDeleteHi Lily and Edward, You did a great job on this review! I wanted to share it with my neighbor who has a Bichon that is on sensitive stomach food and has allergies-but she doesn't use the computer(yes, there are folks who don't). I will tell her about this product and maybe show her on my computer. Thanks for sharing-seems like a wonderful company.
