    Mommy scoops our yard...twice a day! Now, how do we get da peeps who ride their horses past our house to scoop their poop too. It always lands in our driveway!!!

    LOVE that SIGN... Our mom scoops OUR poops EVERY day... even though WE are the ONLY ones who should be pooping in our yard... It is still the GOOD thingy to do... fur the reasons you mentioned.

    Momma always picks up my poops! She had two flexi leashes for me...and a seperate green bag dispenser on each one! Then she has another backup one in the center console of her car, just in case!

    You are right on, Lily! For those of us who live near oceans, it's really important to scoop that poop so the bacteria doesn't get into the ocean water. Enough of it that bad bacteria can cause red tides, the kind that kills sea life.

    And even if you don't live near an ocean, you really need to scoop. Instead of the bacteria going to the ocean, that nasty bacteria will get into the ground water which is what we drink. Ew!

    We are scoopers, in our yard and on walks. And we encourage everyone we know to do the same.

    Hi Lily, I am amazed and saddened by how many pup owners don't act responsibly and scoop it up. Most areas have dispensers with bags and garage cans to help owners. I become very unhappy if someone lets their dog leave it on our lawn. I've been know to comment to people about it.

    Scooping Poop... VERY important. Mom also has poop bags all over, coat pockets, jean pockets, car door pockets, and stuff. sometimes she thinks we are out of them, then finds some stuffed someplace. We even hand out /offer bags to some who don't have them. Good reminder post!!
