Paws Crossed Please

I am at the V-E-T.
They are calling my name...
I have not been myself for a few days Doc.
I throw up, 2 times,
I have poop shoots
and won't eat.
No, Doc. I did not eat anything bad.
I did take Heartgard on Saturday.
That's it.
Ummm....yes, you can steal my blood.
We need to find out what is wrong.
I sleep a lot too.
Moms so nervous. She is talking about heart attacks and ulcers.
Wooo!
Easy with my poop shooter.
no, thank you.
I do not want water in bed.

Don't know what is going on...
ate cottage cheese and rice...kept it down
ate cottage cheese and rice, threw it up
drank water...
I am being monitored to prevent dehydration...

What is scary, Bailey is going through the exact same thing as me. We are both in CA

    Hoping you will be just fine, Lily. Maybe it is an after effect of your big trip. Sometimes if you drink water from a different source, it can upset the tummy. Just a thought.

    We had some not so great news on Phantom today and between that and Ciara, Mom says she is going to have ulcers too.

    Poor Lily. We are sorry to hear that you and so many of your California friends are sick! It sounds like a virus of some kind since it is spread out over the state. Unless you are all on the same water supply. Ask your vet and your mom about using Pedialyte (the kind for kids) or the DIY version to help keep you hydrated. The electrolytes are as important as the water part is. The World Health Organization provides this recipe for rehydration. http://rehydrate.org/solutions/homemade.htm#recipe

    Oh Lily... we are sending you every last drop of the power of the paw that we have. And we send your mom lots and lots of hugs. I can imagine that she's scared right now.

    I don't know if you remember but... soon after K died, we had a huge scare that R had hemangiosarcoma. We talked about heart attacks and ulcers while he had a million tests. It all turned out fine. I think it will for you too.

    Hi Lily, I hope you're doing all better now! Rice is a good staple when you have tummy problems. Back when some of the doggies got sick, we gave them cerelac (baby food)... since its easy to absorb and is full of nutrients.
