Oh Lliy we still find it hard not to type Benny before Lily!! It is so good to see Mr. Fiesty was enjoying being bossy, playing tag, whispering secrets to you and enjoying your beautiful CA sunshine. Lots of hugs to you my sweet Gal Pal Madi your BFFF
One thing is for sure... you have hundreds of wonderful photos that will help keep Benny's memory alive for you. That's why photography is so very important to Gloman. Not because he can make beautiful images, not because he wants to frame something and hang it on our wall, but because we can relive the joy of our experiences, friends and loved ones for the rest of our lives. xo
Hi Lily It must be very sad at your house now, and very quiet. We wish we could come keep you company and snuggle with you so you would not be alone. If you need anything, you just give us a shout.
We think that you still need Benny in your car with you but as your angel brother with his wings on. You know that he will ALWAYS be with you in your heart Lily and he will always watch over you.
Benny made the very MOST of every second and YOU helped him to do it. THAT is wonderful. He did thingys that he LOVED right up until he was Ready to take his journey. Thank you Lily fur sharing your last times with him. They mean a LOT to us. BEAUTIFUL Memories to tide us over. PeeS... we sent you an impawtant Email...
Bless your brother Lily - he was Mr. Feisty right up until his "feistiness" ran out....but you just KNOW he's keeping them on the run over the Bridge.....I bet he's got everybody running around there just trying to keep up with him.
I saw the post about Benny a few days ago but wasn't able to comment via phone. I was so sorry to hear about him passing. I've been praying for you and Lily.
Benny had a great life with you and Lily - thanks for doing so much for him and giving him such love. Hugs. :)
He lived his life to the fullest. Lady said it took her a full three after each pets death to feel like she could really breathe again, but each day got easier. We think of you and your pain everyday and hope you are doing ok. Lee and Phod
So sad for your loss. It takes a long time for the hurt to stop. I am reminded of the chat rooms at aplb.org, who helped me a lot when I lost Liz, my fox terrier.
Benny was really somethin' else and we know how hard this must be, specially since he was being his regular feisty self just a little while ago. We're thinking about you all and hope that memories like this make you smile just a little bit inside.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Lily. Also for your mom. You must be very sad. I just stopped by to send you and your mommy kisses! Be strong like Benny was. Both of you!
I remember after pets passed the hardest part was thinking, this was only yesterday or last week or last month. How do things change so quickly? I am thinking of you all, it is such a hard time.
We miss him so much, but I'm glad that he was feisty to the last. I've always said that would be the way to go. We just want more time to say goodbye, no matter how long we get.
I am sure you miss Benny something fierce. Benny's time was short. I am glad though you can post about him and keep the blog going, we need to keep seeing your face Lily. Thanks for being my friend Sweet William The Scot
God bless you Mom and Lily! I read your blog everyday! Hugs to you both. I know you miss Benny. Words cannot express how bad I feel for you all! Remember the good times (so many of them). Benny is running free at the bridge no pain and no cancer. Big hugs! Karen
It really is beyond belief, I was stunned when I read about Benny on Madi's blog. Hope you and Lily are doing okay and giving each other lots of hugs. Lynne x
it reminds me of how it was with my dad before he died from cancer. he had a break out day, and we all got to remember what he was like before he got sick, crazy, funny, happy. looks like Benny did the same thing for you! left you with a memory of what he was like before he got sick.
Sending hugs to You and Lily. The pics of Lily and Benny and all the good times you had together will always be in your heart. Ow ay such a hard thig but he is free of any pain and I am sure playing with old friends. Barb, Ernie and the crew
Sheesh, I know what you mean by the Frenchie feisties!!! As you know, I am blind and 97, and my whippersnapper roomie Frenchie does that to all the time. Benny, we miss you, even with those feisty outbreaks of Frenchie 'fights'. Who else is going to keep Lily on her 'paws' errr toes?? Xxx
It's very hard I understand, today is Day 77 for me without my very special Abbygirl. So please be very gentle with yourself. We are keeping you in our purrayers.
It's never easy to lose your best buddy, but keep remember all the fun you two had together - it won't make you stop missing him, but it might let you smile a bit through the sadness.
I'm so glad you've got such a wonderful chronicle of Benny's time with you. How wonderful he was feeling so well up until practically the end. I know (because my soul girl went within a week) that it is very shocking to witness an incredibly quick decline of a beloved companion. After I got past the shock, I realized (for me) the quickness actually was a source of comfort. I know our Benny had his ups and downs since his original problem and diagnosis - but for the most part he remained happy, silly, loving, comfortable, and enjoyed being alive. That's a blessing. Sending you all love and comfort.
I am so happy that you are sharing more photos of Benny. We want to see the photos,, and we want to hear about those good times... I have a feeling Benny would want that too. thank you for including us with you as you heal-- cause parts of us has a hole tooo, and so we all need to heal-- and photos and talking help love tweedles
Lily! I see your new header! Keep on keepin' on girl. You and your Mama are strong and amazing. We all miss Chubby and will never forget him. xxxxxooooooo
We can certainly understand how hard it is - same thing here with TD. But Mom keeps telling herself that it was good he was so happy and only went bad for a short time. Thank goodness for photos - the memories are hard right now but with time things do get better. Many hugs.
It is such a tough time. No matter what, it always seems shocking and sudden. We miss Benny too. Thanks for sharing those photos, showing us how happy he was!
We miss him too Andrea and Lily. We are lucky to be counted as one of his friends.
