Maybe I could go in there and reach underneath somehow

    Oh Lily, what to do, what to do! Did you roll a toy under there or perhaps a Kong filled with yummies?

    Muffin does that all the time with her treat filled fire hydrant. Mommy is forever on her hands and knees schlepping it out from under the entertainment center.

    Lily you are much more patient than me. When I play with my ball I get it under things and then dig and dig and dig and dig till Mom gets it out.

    This has happened to us a number of times. What we like to do is scratch at the floor so hard that mom thinks it will damage the carpet, then she hurries up to get it out. You might try that technique.

    We made little strips of wood to block the area where balls and toys can go under furniture. It works pretty well!
