Paws Crossed for Annie

Friends you know our best friend is Annie.
She is half Pitty and maybe something else.
She will be 14 in November.
Well, Annie needs all our hugs and good vibes...
She is losing feeling in her hind legs and
can't hear very well.
the other night she had a very bad problem panting and not being able to stand.
She does a million tricks
and is very smart.
The VET gave Annie medicine.
 
Her mom is keeping a huge eye on her to make sure is ok

    Our paws are crossed for Annie, it is tough as they get older. We are facing problems for our dog as well. Keep your paws crossed for Rusty as well. His surgery date is next Wed!!

    We know how special Annie is to all of you. Phantom is 14 too so we understand the concern. We sure hope she will be OK. All paws crossed.

    I had the exact same thing with my dog, Sable. It was a very long two days. She was "rolled" by my other dogs, while playing (started limping and hobbling) and the next day she would not get up. For two days she also lay there panting heavily. I kept a fan on her and gave her plenty of water.

    I normally give her Novox for her arthritis anyway, but she was hacking up a lot of saliva (allergy I am guessing) and a bit of bright red blood. I was anxious and almost got her into the vet, but it passed and I was able to get her regular medicine into her and she recovered.

    She is back to her normal self now - she is a rescue and we can only guess her age (over ten). I am hoping a quick recovery for Annie as well. It is not fun for us caretakers, I sympathize.
