I got home yesterday.
And I made up my mind I am going to stay here for all my days cause of you.
Your support is overwhelming.
I would like to introduce you to my nurse Lily.
She is already sleeping on the job.
Mom said she was getting very sad without me.
Probably cause she hasn't bitten my ears in 87 days.
I grabbed my pillow, threw it outside and snoozed.
and snoozed....
I snoozed to the right and snoozed to the left.
Please, no profile shots.
My zillion chins will show.
I think I would look quite handsome as an English Bulldog.
I am taking Prednisone.
It is a pee pee drug.
Cause it makes you pee pee.
Drinking a gallon of water is tiring.
I also take tramadol for pain as needed, Pepcid, Metronidazole Suspension (antibiotic) and Ursodiol (liver protectant)
I am being monitored to make sure my breathing is ok,
my tongue and gums are pink, I am eating, drinking and have no pain.
mom continues to slobber on my head.
I said mom
one day at a time, right.

'cept for the prednisone which made JD look like he had Cushings... we know all those drugs because either, momma or JD or both take them... Momma suggests you add belladonna, thuja and arnica montana. All homeopathic, all available at the vitamin shop. Boost that sucker immune system! Benny we love you. Hang out baby and hang on!

ReplyDeleteTo Benny, Lilly and family - I found your blog thru Dexter's bog and oh my, my heart just sank into my chest reading about you all. I have a 4 year old chocolate lab named Indy and he rocks my world :) I lost my only child last year (Jonathan, age 24) and Indy has been such a source of joy and healing for me. Pets are FAMILY - they love us no matter what. I know that is how Benny feels about all of you. I don't know you but I had to donate a small amount in honor of Jonathan. He would want me to do that. Praying for you Benny!
