To Walk or Not to Walk

Friends...
I love to walk...
I can walk for miles
I can walk up hills, down hills...
I can  walk 45 hours....
We are being very good walking.

Then this happens after 3 minutes....
Nope...not going...
I'm not walking anywhere....
I have tested my brakes and they work well.

My Lily prefers to stand around, look around and wait for people to pet her.

Mom ends up carrying her or I get to take a long walk with my mom all by myself.
My Lily is a character!

  1. Maybe you should just put a skateboard under her and pull Lily.

  11. Oh, how funny! Sometimes the IDEA of a walk is very enchanting...until you're doing it.

  12. Lily, you are too funny. Maybe Lily wanted to sniff something good, so she just stopped and wanted to enjoy the air.

  13. Hahahaha! That is hilarious. If ever there was a picture of stubbornness personified, that pic of Lily at the end of the leash is it! Yes, I'm picturing a skateboard, or perhaps one of those strollers you see people pushing little dogs around in. Or maybe she would like to ride in a backpack? Very cute post!

  31. You two can come and go with My Vickie and I up into the mountains this summer. My vickie will bring along a trailer for the ATV and Lilly can ride while we run along through the woods. What do ya say about that.....

  36. Lily, I get ya...you are merely giving the humans a chance to view you in all your beauty when you stop for photo ops and just wanna give Mom upper arm strenght...that's all! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't see the problem. The humans are there to tend to your needs. If Miss Lily prefers to be admired, so be it.

    Kisses,
