we went to the park today....
these things are nothing but teasers.
These hoodlums scream at you then run.
I saw Donald Duck..
I was going to get him, but didn't want to get my feets wet.
Lets go....lets go....
What did you do today friends?
Benny & Lily
Being a "Goose" I can assure you I would never scream at you then run. I'd give ya a bark, bow and sniff.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
silly hoodlums....you showed them though..
ReplyDeleteBehind the window I am looking the rain and the wind in the trees...
ReplyDeleteGeese are hoodlums!
ReplyDeleteGeese can be nasty things!

Woof to you Benny & Lily!!!! Geese can be very nasty, sneaky and stealth.
ReplyDeleteOne time, I was watching a pair of Geese on the Hudson River from a distance together with some other dogs and all of sudden, one of the geese came charging straight away at all of us. He was such a menace!
A few of the dogs were scared, but my friend Rocky the Pit Mix and I weren't and we both stood tall ready to defend ourselves, our mothers and our territory.
Sadly (or maybe thankfully), our mothers weren't up for the fight and got us out of the situation ASAP, but we knew we could have taken him out!

I'm glad you didn't go after Donald Duck. I like to watch ducks swimming in the pond. But you can chase that mean goose all you want. Nobody likes geese!
ReplyDeleteWell our problem with those guys you saw is that Bob and Ping like to eat their treats, aka poop. Grosses mom out big time
ReplyDeleteurban hounds
We have those geese at our park too. The ducks run away when we bark but not the geese, they scare us!

OMG! You got to see Donald Duck! Love your purple sweater Lily!
ReplyDeleteYou are SOOOOO right... Geese (not OUR GOOSE) are Hoodlums fur SURE. BUTT they surely do leave some nice poops fur us.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love to chase the geese and ducks. I have yet to catch one.
ReplyDeleteLily, your purple hoody is very cute.
Oh the geese. I hate those things
ReplyDeleteYour park is sure pretty, guys!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
I went for a walk to, but didn't see any hoodlums. There was a stray plastic bag blowing through the meadow that I chased though.
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Wow!
ReplyDeleteInteresting creatures there, right?
I guess it is better to leave them alone....
Kisses and hugs

It's been too windy to walk here the past couple of days. Good thing our backyard is fenced-in.

I LOVE to chase geese, but my mom says they'll peck me if I get too close

I got to go for a walkie, but I did not see any hoodlums like you did. I heard some noisy crows!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I see those hoodlums when they fly over my house.
I am always afraid they might poop on me

That goose was lucky you were being held back! We always get teased by the crows. They're just flying cats!

I am glad you had a fun adventure. I had to get a bath today and I hate baths, so not such a good day for me. I hope tomorrow is better.

The afternoon was sunny & temps almost 50 degrees!! We took our first official dog walk (70 minutes!) (I had my pedometer) Felt really good & the dogs had a great time. The Diva Halle did well, I think she has fully acclimated to her lower Phenobarb dose.
ReplyDeleteAfter the walk I chipped away some more ice from the driveway.
Chloe would have jumped in after Donald Duck!!! Love that purple sweater!! It was kind of chilly and damp here in NY today!
ReplyDeleteI would have barked and barked at those geese! Looks like you both had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteTHat looks like a really fun walk! I had to be at the vet's all day yesterday - but I got the green light to start going on walks again ---- so guess what I'm doing today!?!? Wooooo!!!
ReplyDeleteLuv,
DAve
That looks so much fun, Winston is mesmerized by bikes! He thinks they are great toys!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and have subscribed! You've got to love the Frenchie spirit.
Pop along and meet my Frenchie baby Winston (Winnebago to me). He's such a roaster, he would love you both.
