The Land of Beads

Friends mom took her red bag and went to the land of beads......
and she brought us nothing.


yep...nothing
she talked of beads, boas, and the crazies....
she talked of furry kids
and furry peoples.....


and did we say...
she brought us nothing!
she saw Addy, Jazzi's sissy who "supposedly"
moved to Texas......
she saw alligators....
St. Louis church
and talented street performers... 
We will let her slide this time....
cause we are thrilled she is home

    Thanks for taking me along this morning. I so enjoyed seeing your trip. THose powdered sugar covered pastries...TDF love it.

    Loved the shadow on the St. Louis church, absolutely exquisite. Gave me goosebumps. A gorgeous shot. The street talented musicians looks like that was a lot of fun. I would definitely enjoy that.

    Now I have to ask though, knowing Mom...Did she really bring you two nothing?

    Someday I hope I can visit New Orleans. I really enjoyed all the photos you shared to give me a little taste of that hoppin' city!

    I've never even tried a beignet and she went to the famous Cafe du Monde! Oh that looked so good..you know she couldn't bring one because they wouldn't travel well....

    She didn't even bring a boa home to wear? Oh well....at least she is home for puppy lovin'!

    I lived in Pensacola, a few hours away from New Orleans, and that meant that I got to see all of the crazies many, many times! Lots of your photos brought back great memories! Sorry your mom didn't buy any souvenirs for you two!
