Friends
My Lily has a big bad injury.
She is a very hyper young lady.
But one day she was limping.
Dr. Davis and Dr. S took X-rays.
X-rays show your insides.
I was sick with worry.
I paced and paced outside.
We were called in.....
The Doc talked Doc talked....
it was nutty talk.
Words I never heard.
Mom said....
Lily has a disc on her lower back protruding upward....
excessive jumping or running may cause it to push into her spine causing paralysis or neurological damage.
My Lily's knee may be popping out of the socket causing her to limp.
SHE IS NOT in pain
was the only good news.
However, its getting worse.
However, its getting worse.
Back to a special Doc today....
a Neurological and Orthopedic Specialist...
Paws crossed for my Lily...
We get tears when we see her limp
BUT she does not appear bothered , however, a lot of walking
is out of the question.
is out of the question.
Thanks friends
Benny & Lily

Oh no! Poor Lily! Did this develop slowly or happen all of a sudden? Do you know when it occurred? I bet you are worried sick. Geesh, I don't know how she could not be in pain... disc problems are usually extremely painful (speaking from personal experience here)! But I guess the doc knows what he's talking about. I think if it were me though, I'd be slipping her some Rimadyl or Deramaxx.... I see there's an update, so I'm going to check it!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Thinking of you and sending good healing thoughts!
