We can not blog at work, but we saw this and wanted to tell you we have been praying all day for Lily. I'm glad she came thru okay, but I bet she'll be mad that she has to not run around for a while! You better be really nice to her!
That's great, Benny. We bet you and Mom are exhausted after today. Please give Lily some snooter smoochies from all of us when you see her tomorrow. Paws crossed for a good recovery.
We just stopped by to see if there was any new info on Lily.........so happy to hear her is recovering and will be home soon. That is very good news indeed!
Oh no! I knew something had happened when there were suddenly three posts... All of our paws, fingers, and toes are crossed. Lily is a tough cookie - I bet that she'll be feisty when she gets home. Try not to worry too much, Benny. We'll worry for you.
Oh Benny, we're so relieved to hear Lily is out of surgery and doing well! Try not to worry about Lily, Frenchies are tough little frogs. We know! We'll be keeping you both and your momma in our thoughts.
We are so glad the Lily came through her surgery ok, and we will be keeping our paws crossed for her speedy recovery. While she's convalescing, perhaps you can be building her a lot of ramps so she can get up on the big bed and sofa and stuffs without having to do that jumping that is so dangerous for her knee and her back. You may have to sit on her, very gently, to keep her from running and jumping too much while she heals. We may have to start a Cone Club at this rate. Ernie is in one, Jed will be back in his next week, seems like we can't turn around without seeing one of our blog friends in a Cone. Except for the horses; ever notice how they never have to wear a Cone?
I am so glad that Lily did good and will be coming home tomorrow. I know you must really miss her. My lazy Assistant has been so busy that we just now hear bout it. We will keep Lily in our prayers. Paws crossed here fur Lily.
That is such great news, hope she will be back to her old self soon. We know she will be well looked after by you and your mum Benny. Hugs, Dip Bridge and Elliot x
Hopefully she is resting and getting good medication. My opinion is as many painkillers as she needs to keep her calm and out of pain for the near term. Dogs are so darn brave that they don't complain nearly enough. I'll be thinking of all of you as the day progresses.
Such good news that Lily came through surgery just fine--are you all ready to wait on her hand and foot?? I bet that girl is gonna milk it! (bell ringing) "Ma! Benny! Annie et al!"
Those Frenchie injuries are so scary; Humphs hasn't had to have surgery but did have a minor back issue that required steroids, six weeks crate rest, and some chiro visits. It was hard to keep him still! Here's many Frenchie kisses and yummy treats to Ms. Lily as she recovers 'til she's as good as new!
p.s. Bella Bean and Humphs agree that Lily needs a "Radio Flyer" red wagon to be carted around in. Her personal chariot. WIth bling of course!
I am soooooooo glad that the surgery is over and all is going to be TOTALLY PERFECT again. I have my paws crossed fur a Speedy Quick recovery. VIBES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
