I get that look all the time. Minnie doesn't understand that she has to GIVE me the ball after I toss it. She wants the ball. She wants you to follow her around!
I know that face well. Right now our snow is melting. Layers and layers of snow and all of it is dirty. Wet and muddy terrain. My pups all want to get out but until conditions are less messy they must be content to sniff the air during car rides!!! We walk thru clean parking lots though!! Soon we will resume our long walks.
What's up with the 'later' thing? My Mom is always doing that, too. She says something about how we can't go on our long walks until the weather gets 'better'. These bipeds talk in rhymes and riddles. *sigh*
Sheesh! Later, later! Those aren't nice words! What the heck better does your mama have to do all day?? And how the heck could she resist that face! That is just so wrong!

It kind of reminds us of that song by Cat Stevens' - The Cat's in the Cradle. It's all about making parents feel guilty for not playing. We think you should play that record. That will get your mom up and at 'em.
When my mom spends too much time on the puter, I go in there and try to climb up on her lap or nose her arm off the keyboard...BOL, hard to ignore 65 pounds of ME ME ME!!
Ohhhh how could anyone not crumble when they see that face? I am guilty as charged. I am always saying "later, later, later" to Cody AND Dakota....I am on the computer waaaay too much. Cody is on the kitchen chair next to me as I write this...he says he sooooooooo feels your pain! xoxo
Training the two-leggers is an on-going process... As soon as you think they've learned something, they do something else that's bad.
ReplyDeleteWe can see you have your work cut out for you!
Sam and Pippen
OH I can totally relate to you, Benny!
ReplyDeleteHumans! Go play. The end.

You'll have to work a little harder with training her.
ReplyDeleteWe do that for our walks and it doesn't seem to work any better here either:( So we guess we all need to get the humans back into obedience school.
