Beach Surprise

Mom surprised us and we went to the beach today.
We love exploring.
I love digging for gold.
The sand feels so good on my toes.
I get a little leary of the waves.
Look what our feets do.
This is my ocean.
I prefer to climb and explore.
I love this beach!!
Look at this hole Lily
I found a zillion dillion sticks!

    I love the captions just as much as the pictures! The photo of Benny's fear of the waves really captures the look on his face! I also love the photo of Lily when she "said" she loves the beach! So loved this post!

    Wow your beach is so different from ours! There's nobody at your beach... so it really is YOUR beach!

    But weren't you scared that the ocean was going to bathe you? I was! It was too scary and I didn't like the sand at all.

    I'm glad you guys did though. I might try it out again sometime...

    Great fun at the beach. WE love going to the beach here. Yours is different you have holes in the rocks and rocks to climb. We have driftwood. WhooHoo - a stick graveyard - fun with endless sticks to carry and play with.

    I have never been to the beach, it is 100 miles away over a 2 lane mountain road. But if I look cute enough maybe Mel will take Mom and me to the beach this spring.

    What a cool place to go, Benny and Lily! We think we would really like the feel of that wet sand. And rockclimbing - fun, fun. Ciara would be in doggy heaven with all that digging she could do. We aren't so sure we would be crazy about the water, but we have never tried it. Hopefully one day . . .

    You two are so lucky to live that close to the beach! Our dad has been visiting a friend in Santa Barbara this week. He can see the Pacific from the deck! So relieved the tsunami warnings were farther north.
