Friends its me Lily.
When mom's home Bennys
internal clock says its time to eat at 3PM.
He starts running around and taking out all our toys.
He runs, snorts, squeeks the ball
and makes squealing noises like a piggy.
He is so excited he doesn't know what to do with himself.
I say Ben, please.
We eat at 3:30.
Nutty
Thanks for letting me vent.
Lily
you eat at 3:30? hehe when our mama gets home early, we think its time to eat too. Duh.
ReplyDeleteMuah, Minnie Moo
Lily, I think you shouldn't pay too much attention to the time, when it's time to eat, it's time to eat. Nomnomnomnom. I don't have a fixed time fur eating, it's just about 24/7.
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Pepsi
Boys will be boys, Lily. They sometimes just need the guidance of us girls:)
ReplyDeleteWe boys always have to show off!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Bentley
I sometimes think they make boys at the Stupid Factory - they can be so impatient and dumb.
ReplyDeleteGood for you Lily for staying calm and showing some dignity.
Love and licks, Winnie
Just ignore him, Lily.
ReplyDeleteYou pups can read clocks? That's amazing! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHEY... You can Tell TUMMY TIME on the clock??
ReplyDeleteHow Cool Drooooool.
I just think Ben is CELEBRATING the dinner seconds.
Lily, maybe you should start calling Benny "Babe."
ReplyDeleteSnort snort :)
Jon Farleigh and Dewi
Maybe Benny just gets hungry at 3?
ReplyDeleteHmm. Dave's like that, too. They need to update their clocks or something!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
So is that like some sort of raindance? We might have to try that here since we don't get to eat anywhere close to 3:30.

Lady wants me to pass along that she's voting for one meal at 3 pm, and another at 3:30 pm. It's always good to compromise.
ReplyDeleteBenny..I think that you and Bumble are on the same clock!
ReplyDeleteThat Benny is something else, isn't he, Lil? I mean...come on...he should KNOW that you two eat at 3:30, not at 3:00. Silly boy.
ReplyDeleteElyse and Riley
Aww, Lily- aren't boys silly? You better keep him in line!
ReplyDeleteWe have our M & D convinced we have a clock in our tummies... We know when food time comes.
ReplyDeleteHis clock was just running a bit fast.

ReplyDeletehello,
ReplyDeletehow funny, Lotta is always crazy when I walk past the feed tonne, she thinks there will always eat. but I can not resist a bully looking.
Greetings from doreen with lotta
You is so lucky! I has to wait until 6 before I gets supper. :(
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae
What would Benny do without you ot keep him in line, Lil?
ReplyDeleteWell I don't have to wait for my supper since I just have dry kibbles left in my bowl all the time but I do know about routines. I get up every morning at 4:00am to tell Grandma that I need to go outside and play!
ReplyDeleteWhew, that sounds stressful! I get kibble in my bowl all day, so I don't have to worry about stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,

Hehe, my momma's cocker spaniel used to do that when she was growing up... every day at 4pm she'd go nuts because it was dinner time... and just in case you were thinking about forgetting, she made sure you knew what time it was!

ReplyDeleteLol isn't it so hilarious how dogs seem to know what time it is? Ellie comes to work with me and right around 5pm she gets all hyper and playful with another dog.
ReplyDeleteWe get nutty at our house too when it's time to eat and we do eat at 3PM!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Ummm Benny and Lily... I know where your missing Cards and Chips are... Puddles used them to STUFF her BooZum.. so her dress would stay up.. Well that is what somebuddy told me anyway.
ReplyDeleteAt 3:30 my boy gets home from high school. At 5:30 the UPS man comes, and always brings me cookies. Between those times, I'll take whatever I can get.
ReplyDeleteDroools,
Thor
3:30?!! What the heck? We have to wait until at least 5:00 - tonight it was closer to 7:00! We're calling the SPCA!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs
Haaa!
ReplyDeleteI am sure Benny knows at what time you get your foodables!
Sure he does all those things to make that half hour go faster!

We do that too. Mocha barks really loud and Winnie sits right where mom can't help but see her. Ashley plays with a ball to get mom's attention. We need our bread and cheeze whiz man.
ReplyDeleteMocha Barney, Ashely Pumpernickel and Winniechurchill
I start my rekhwest around 5pm -
ReplyDeleteOf khourse, on the nights Mom doesn't get home until 6:15pm, I don't bother -

BOL! Thats too cute. I get *really* excited about dinner time too!
ReplyDeleteOMG you sound like my boys! Cody and Dakota eat around 4pm and at 3 they start "double teaming" me for food! They are relentless and they don't stop until they win! You should come over and join us!
ReplyDeleteLittle brothers can be crazy!!
ReplyDeleteKendra is our stomach clock.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, kendra & Bella
We try that too, but we have to wait till 5pm. If we eat too early, we get peckish later in the evening, just like mom..haha!

Boys are so persistent, aren't we?:)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear
Puppies and their internal clocks...jees..come on!!
ReplyDeleteIf that routine works, K and R will be trying it! They don't get to eat until around 7 PM. Imagine that, Benny!
