Wildflower Road Trip

Today we went along in search of wildflowers.
and guess what...we found them in bloom...
they sure were purrty.
after 36 hours of driving we stopped somewhere in our state
and had taquitos and water. We almost tasted soda,
but it was only a tease and a pose for the camera.

Thank goodness the water didn't have that stick in it.
I prefer drinking from the cup.
Betcha can't curl your tongue like this Ben.
Ooo...yum
and? you ate it all...
whatever...let's go
wake me when you find more flowers...
so springy.
WOW!! Well we are heading home from our wildflower adventure.
Aaaaa....it was a great trip.

    We love going on road trips too! It must have been fun to see all the wildflowers. Too bad you didn't get any taquitos though.

    What beautiful flowers! Not much is in bloom here yet, so this gave our Mom lots of that "hope for Spring" thing!
    Mmm... that taquito looks soooooooo good! Did your mom share? I'd even take some of that shredded lettuce!

    Now those were the prettiest wild flowers we ever did see! And your lunch looked good too. Be careful with those straws though, you could get one stuck up your nose and we don't think you would like that very much!

    Another great trip. You two have so much fun. Those flowers were great! I am glad you got to have a drink with no straw. Too hard to pucker, right? And then a bake to make sure you digest. Very well rounded adventure.
