My Lily has a problem in her right ear. It might be a lump.We waited to see Dr. Cambridge the surgeon and specialist.
I went for moral support. I do look a bit nervous huh? These smells are like no other.
Hey that lady is calling me. How do you know me lady?
Nice office. Benny come with me.
Is that Khyra or Mochi or Army of 4 up there on the wall? Crazy. Come on Doc. I am a nervous wreck.
We waited outside since the doc took Lily in the back. She had to be drugged so they could check deep down in her ear.
We waited and waited.
Gosh. Hope my Lily is okay.
Yikes. I didn't do it. Even the police K-9 come to this place.
After our coffee we went back inside. The doc said Lily might have major inflamation. She needs to take a high dose of prednisone (yukky) so the swelling will go down. Or it may be a bad infection. Mom said the worse case is surgery on her ear to close the canal. Not sure what all this means except she will be deaf in her right ear.
She was still a little dizzy on the way home.
I pretended to be dizzy too, just for support.
She got a green boo boo bandage. I didn't get anything.
Lay down and rest my little girl. Lets dream you will be all better.
We will go back in two weeks.

ReplyDeleteMy little Pi dog had that surgery in both ears. It did not slow her down a bit as the vet said she still sensed sound vibrations in her skull. Plus she had Angus to look after her.
The surgery was not too bad and she recovered quickly and she was very happy not to have any more painful ear issues.

My cousin had that surgery also- and it was like a miracle. She still hears perfectly out of the other ear- even better than before. Benny it was so nice of you to be brave for your sister and offer moral support. Those smells in doctors offices are scary. They even scare mommy.

We sure hope that the medicine helps Lilly. We know what it is like to have deaf dogs. Good thing is Benny you will be able to sneak up on her without her knowing. Of course you will have to master what ear that is.. We don't wish that on you Lilly. Good luck...

Oh Lily... I sure hope you feel better soon! Surgery would be no fun at all. Looks like Benny did a great job of looking out for you. Only someone who REALLY loves you would pretend to be dizzy just so you wouldn't feel alone.
