A Trip to Los Angeles / Un Voyage à Los Angeles

Good Morning Friends / amis de bonjour,
Lily and I were wondering why momma took us on our morning walk so early on Saturday. It was the weekend. I thought we would sleep in a bit but we were out at  5:00 AM. I was half asleep until Lily alerted to a Kitty.
Once inside mom started getting ready...ut oh..are we going? Nope...its okay because our doggysitter was coming with her son. Do we love playing with him...what a riot! So where did mom go? With Deb to Los Angeles. Going to L.A. anytime of day or night needs planning due to traffic conditions.
There were feet dangling out of a car window on the freeway, homeless people (poor human), Angel's Stadium, bikers and finally the first destination. Historic Olvera Street.
We wished we were there to see the donkey, the baby shoes and all the stuff from Mexico.
What beautiful dresses they wear. Mom could not find me a Miriachi outfit. Oh well.  Lily and I could not figure out the teeny weenie doggys in the crates or the little people on strings. Weird. We wondered if they were like our leashes.

We were glad to see they had Blessing of the Animals there since the next doggy was sitting in a bunch of toys.

The adventure led to an old adobe...it was older than me and Lily.  The humans probably did not have a doggy since we did not notice a rug for it to sit on.

Across the street there was a very old firehouse. That is a fire truck. Crazy..Do Not Touch It! The journey continues a few blocks away to Little Tokyo. On the way there was a prison and writing on the wall. Mom said it was graffiti. She said we were not allowed to write like that anywhere at any time. So far, I can't figure out why we could not have been along for the ride. Hmmmm.

Arriving, there was a tall red thing. Ah-ha..the bakery...doggys in the bakery.. This is why Lily and I were at home.

Being that it was still early...the adventure led them to the Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA). Okay, we gave in...Doggys, Food And Drinks were not allowed.
This is art..1000  pounds of airplane parts. Silly   stuff I tell ya.
Overall, we had a wonderful day and I know mom and Deb did too! Yep..playing, walks, kisses and attention is what we got from mom. Hope you enjoyed the pictures my friends. I drank one to many Pepsi's while bloggin.
Luv & licks,
Benny &Lily
