We were so excited, out of the blue mom said everybody in the car to the beach we go. Oh yea!! What a gorgeous day!
We saw this creature showing its hiney. Next thing I know me and mom are showing our hiney.
Lily and I were playing in the sand when suddenly mom had this idea that I wanted to go in the water. Yes, the ocean. Momma, I am from Pittsburgh remember. Pittsburgh! Ocean?...not. No..I am not going to look, and I am not going to move. Do you realize I may sink?
These were the best pair of brakes I could find. Human pulls forward, I pull back. Obviouly they did not work to well. I was wading in the ocean.
Lily could not give a rats ass what I thought. She was having so much fun playing, digging holes and chasing the waves. I couldn't help but sit there and watch her. Oh my Lily!
Even though I looked like I was being tortured for a short time I wound up having a lot of fun.
Next time..no water mom!

ReplyDeleteOK, we are green with envy! Man you guys are lucky!!! We've never seen that large big pond called the ocean! It looks like lots of fun! (The closest we get to the ocean are Mom's pictures when she returns home)
...anyway we wanted to say that Benny's tail is the shortest we have ever seen (hehe!)

What a nice time you guys had! You look like you had a wonderful day -- I wish it was warm enough here to walk to the beach, but it's been rather chilly, below normal! Water isn't so bad, Benny, and you did look like you had an enjoyable time in that last pic. :)
ReplyDeleteSo that Lilly must really be a digger! What a hole she had in that one photo! I'm with you, Benny no good can come of anything wet! I actually visited the beach for the very first time toady - but no thought of swimming! We are riding around NE in Big Earl, so stopped to check out the view at Kennebunk, ME. Very cold & blustery , rough seas - nothing like your gentle breezes, palm trees & warm temps!
